Dates for Bright, Gray, Dark

The TAC's standard definitions for dark (D), gray (G), and bright (B) nights are:

Dark: |Moon Age| < 5.5

Gray: 5.5 < |Moon Age| < 8.5

Bright: |Moon Age| > 8.5

In trimester 2010A these definitions correspond to the following dates as derived from the MMTO's Almanac.

Dark: Sep 13-24; Oct 13-23; Nov 11-22; Dec 11-21

Gray: Sep 10-12 & 25-27; Oct 9-12 & 24-26; Nov 8-10 & 23-25; Dec 7-10 & 22-23

Bright: Sep 1-9; Sep 28-Oct 8; Oct 27-Nov 7; Nov 26-Dec 6; Dec 25-31
