Facility Instruments and Contact Scientists
- f/2.7:
- 90 Prime (E. Olszewski) is a prime focus, wide-field imager using mosaiced CCDS (FOV= 1.16°x1.16°;30.2"/mm; 0.45"/px).
- f/9:
- B&C Spectrograph (P. Smith) provides moderate-resolution (1-5Å) with good throughput from 3200Å to the near-IR. A provision exists for
multi-order "echellette" spectroscopy with a cross-dispersion prism, providing 1--2Å resolution and complete coverage over 3200 -- 8000Å.
Principal Investigator (PI) Instruments and Contact Scientists
- f/9:
- PISCES (D. McCarthy) is a 1-2.5 micron wide-field imager with FOV=8.1 arcmin (0.5"/px).
- SPOL (G. Schmidt) is a CCD imager/spectropolarimeter providing spectral resolutions of 4-15Å from 3800-9000Å. In the imaging mode,
polarization maps can be obtained in filtered bandpasses at the seeing limit over a field of view 51" square.
- f/45:
- 256x256 (G/M Rieke) is a 1-2.5 micron camera (0.24 or 0.6 "/px)
- FSPEC (G/M Rieke) is a long-slit 1.4-2.5 micron spectrometer.
